Greetings from Porto: former barista, now creating a tip app for small cafes

Hello all. I've spent six years behind an espresso machine before teaching myself React in the 2023 downtime. Nowadays I'm developing TipJar Lite, an application that splits tips between people working in cafes with less than ten employees.

The idea was born after observing how our manager split tips using a napkin every Sunday evening. Someone always felt short-changed, but no one dared to say it out loud.

I've been lurking around Product Hunt for almost two years now, and I finally feel like joining the community. I would be very interested in hearing about how you developed your product for small non-technical companies. How did you get your first five customers?
