I'll be honest about why I built this because I think you deserve to know the real story.

For over 30 years, I was a functioning addict and alcoholic. And I mean functioning. I held down sales jobs, hit targets, and kept a professional face while privately drinking and using drugs every single day. Nobody knew the full extent of it. I was good at hiding it.

I've been to prison. Five years. Homeless on and off for sustained periods, doing whatever it took just to survive. I bloated to 24 stone and could barely leave my flat.

Then I lost my daughter to cancer when she was just 9 years old.

Then I was diagnosed with two years to live.

I went to rehab in Indonesia, military grade, cold baths, call to prayer at 4 am, and a jail attached to the building. It was the hardest thing I've ever done. And it saved my life.

I came back to the UK, stayed on my mum's sofa, and started building.

I got personally ripped off by marketing gurus one too many times. Always upsold, never delivered. That anger was the fuel.
