Free language exchange platform (focusing on Mandarin and English)
My name is David and I come from China. There are hundreds of millions of English enthusiasts and learners in China, but due to various reasons, we are unable to have direct conversations with native speakers or have few opportunities, resulting in poor English proficiency among Chinese people. In order to improve the English level of Chinese people, we are committed to free language learning and exchange, focusing on Chinese and English. I have created a language exchange platform.
My platform was launched in September 2026, with over 1500 registered users within a month. Among them, 80% are native Chinese speakers, 18% are native English speakers, and the rest are other language enthusiasts.
My platform offers free language learning. If you need to travel, seek medical treatment, or shop in China, you will need a local Chinese guide. We provide matchmaking services for the guide, and they must have certain qualifications. We hope to promote tourism and shopping, including providing medical services. Welcome David, 1500 users in the first month is a good start. The number I would watch is the 80 to 18 split. In an exchange the scarce side sets the pace, so every native English speaker is worth several learners, and they need their own reason to come that is not "help others". Your travel, medical and shopping angle is a great one: someone planning a trip to China wants practical Mandarin for a specific week, and that is a clear promise you can put in front of them. I would make a separate landing page for that side, written in English for them, rather than one page for both. Good luck!
