Building ProveIt - a new way to evaluate technical talent

Hey everyone 👋

I’m one of the founders of ProveIt, and we just launched on September 1st.

We started ProveIt because technical hiring often evaluates developers in ways that don’t resemble how they actually work. Resumes, algorithm questions, and traditional coding tests can tell you something—but they don’t always show whether someone can actually step into a real environment, understand a problem, and build.

ProveIt takes a project-based approach. Candidates work through realistic technical challenges where they can use the tools and resources they’d normally use on the job. The goal is simple: help companies evaluate demonstrated ability, while giving developers a better way to prove what they can do.

We’re still early and learning quickly, so I’d especially love to connect with founders, engineering leaders, recruiters, and anyone who has experienced the pain of technical hiring firsthand.
