Any Parents in the house? If you travel with kids, I have a quick question for you!

Genuine question for the parents in here: when you are planning a family trip, where does it usually fall apart?

For us (two kids, 2.5 and 5.5) it's the middle phase. Picking the destination is fun. Booking the flight is fine.

But that messy middle is figuring out which hotel actually has connecting rooms, which restaurants will tolerate a kid, how to pace a day so nobody melts down by 3pm — that's where I lose hours.

Curious how others handle it:

• Do you build a full itinerary or stay loose?

• Any tools or sites you actually trust for family-friendly recs?

• What's the one thing you wish someone would just do for you?
