Any Parents in the house? If you travel with kids, I have a quick question for you!
Hey all π
Genuine question for the parents in here: when you are planning a family trip, where does it usually fall apart?
For us (two kids, 2.5 and 5.5) it's the middle phase. Picking the destination is fun. Booking the flight is fine.
But that messy middle is figuring out which hotel actually has connecting rooms, which restaurants will tolerate a kid, how to pace a day so nobody melts down by 3pm β that's where I lose hours.
Curious how others handle it:
β’ Do you build a full itinerary or stay loose?
β’ Any tools or sites you actually trust for family-friendly recs?
β’ What's the one thing you wish someone would just do for you?
I am asking partly because I am a mom of two who's lived this, and partly because I am building bAI (Check out my PH Page) β trying to make this whole thing less brutal.
Real answers from real parents shape what we build, so anything you share is genuinely useful. π

Hello, Pranamee.
I am a new dad and my daughter was just born recently. We haven't traveled far yet, but we already hit a huge wall during short city trips: the car seat problem.
For us, the entire trip falls apart at the transportation phase. Finding a taxi that provides a reliable baby car seat with proper safety belts is incredibly hard. We once had to cancel a ride and re-book another taxi just because the seat didn't fit. It wastes so much time and brings a lot of anxiety.
Good luck with bAI!
