Intro2Petro started from a very simple problem I noticed as a student. Juniors, especially first-year Petroleum Engineering students, often used to ask me:
“Which book should I refer to for Reservoir Engineering?”
“Which one is best for Production?”
Most of the time, they had to search through the entire library, ask multiple seniors, or browse randomly online wasting a lot of time just to find the right resource.
That’s when I realized: we don’t lack books, we lack organized access to the right ones.
So I decided to build Intro2Petro using the tools and resources I had as a student. The idea was simple: put all the essential Petroleum Engineering books in one place, neatly organized by subject, so students can quickly find what they need and focus more on learning.

@sagar946kumar Love how Intro2Petro organizes Petroleum Engineering books by subject — it immediately cuts through the usual chaos of searching for resources.
One small thing I noticed: it’s not always clear which books are most recommended for beginners vs advanced students. A subtle tag or highlight could help first-time users pick faster.
There are a few other areas where the interface and guidance could make discovery even smoother — happy to share more insights if useful!
