Getting started with InkWho: page checks, passage checks, and copying a result

by•

New to InkWho? Here’s a quick guide from our team.

1. Read the page result. Install InkWho from and open an English article in desktop Chrome. Automatic checks are enabled by default; you can turn them off from the extension icon.

2. Check a passage. Select at least 100 words and choose Analyze selection. This gives the selected passage its own result. To see which text was checked, turn on Highlight checked text in the result card; highlighting starts off.

3. Copy a useful summary. Choose Copy text & result to put the checked text and its result on your clipboard. Review the text before sharing it with anyone.

InkWho is free, with no account required. Text analysis happens on your device. Scores are estimates, not proof of authorship, and the first check may take a little longer. Currently an English-language beta.
