I launched IndieCru.sh solo. Here’s what actually happened.

Not gonna lie.. I didn’t expect this.

I launched with no team, no funding, and no idea how people would react.

It ended up #8 on Product Hunt, right next to companies backed by millions.

I’m just one guy, with a laptop, trying to fix a real problem:

🚨 Too many devs launch too late.

With zero users. Zero feedback. Zero proof.

So I built .. a space to:

  • drop your app early

  • get real beta testers

  • collect actual testimonials

  • and grow before launch day

We also added:

  • a dev leaderboard

  • a reward system powered by our own token ($INDIE)

  • private testing programs

  • and a wild community already testing like crazy

Now I’m turning this into something bigger.

Have to say that naming is nailed. You did a good job with copywriting :)

 means a lot! took me 12 bad names and 5 rewrites to land on this one

glad it finally clicked. if you ever launch something, happy to brainstorm names with you too 👀

 what was the first name you wanted to use? :D

 haha the first name was AppNest... sounded like a birdhouse for startups 🐦

then came BetaDock, even Rose (don’t ask why).

but when finally popped, i knew that was the one.

 TBH, AppNest is also quite cool. But probably with Rose or BetaDock I wouldn't identify what is going on :D
