Imagery - Open source, community driven AI image datasets

Imagery is a platform that hosts image datasets, and not just any datasets, but ones that you request. I want to democratise AI for the world, by making all types of datasets available for anyone to download.

When I tried to apply AI & ML to real world projects, I realised that it was not easy obtaining data for my use case and manually annotating it. Some of the datasets are hosted for free on the internet, but afaik, there isn’t a place that uploads datasets that people request. So, I built a website that will upload images that people request, and anyone can download them for free. The ability to build a good AI shouldn't be available only to people with resources. Link: www.cvimagery.com I develop the images with synthetic image generation, and the annotations are pixel perfect. I don’t really have any limitations on what I can generate. For now some categories have been uploaded, and only 1k images are available in each category to keep the cost of hosting low. I also didn’t want to spend excessive time creating datasets that nobody wants. I would love some feedback on whether this is a valued service by the community before committing more resources. In the future, I plan to expand this website to allow anyone to build their own AI model on no-code platforms, without having to source or annotate their own data. From there, I will also provide tutorials on deploying your own AI models onto software and hardware platforms. Feel free to start requesting image datasets you need and I’ll start producing them and uploading them, including an ETA on the delivery date!
