IDP Check - Know if you need an international driving permit

Hey Product Hunt! I'm excited to introduce IDP Check. Planning a road trip abroad is exciting. Figuring out whether your driving licence is enough can be considerably less fun. When you're traveling across several countries, the rules can differ from one destination to another. Some countries require an International Driving Permit, others recommend carrying one, and rental companies can have their own requirements. I built IDP Check to make that research easier. You can select the country that issued your licence, add the countries you're planning to visit, and see a country-by-country overview of the relevant IDP guidance. A few things I wanted to get right: Multiple destinations: Check an entire itinerary rather than researching countries individually. Clear results: Distinguish between requirements and recommendations. Sources: Make it easier to investigate where the guidance comes from. A simple experience: Get useful information without navigating a maze of websites. IDP Check is an independent project. It doesn't issue permits or replace official guidance, and requirements can change, so travelers should verify the details before departing.
