IdeaFoundry - Your ideas are worth a lot. Put them to use

Hi hunters! My name is Isaac AR and as you know, we all have ideas. But let me tell you why I built this: usually I have ideas in physical notebooks, in notes apps, in voice notes, on post-its, bookmarks, you name it. The problem is then finding one among them. And if you find that one idea, what was this thing here? What was the context? Forgot to write that…and is it still relevant? Does it have competitors now? Can it make money? And a whole bunch of questions I don’t have an answer to. I build IdeaFoundry to: 1. Capture any idea anywhere. 2. Keep (and find!) all your ideas and research around them in one place. 3. Act on them, managing the state with full context all the time. 4. Enrich, research, optimize, version, and a whole lot more your ideas automatically with AI agents. 5. Archive and legacy, store and transfer to the next one in line. 6.And overall to be private, local first and not shared with third parties over the wire. 7. Sovereignty over my ideas, a time when they were created, versions 8. And more coming soon. What does it really replace? • Everyday status quo tools: Apple Notes, Keep, OneNote, email drafts, WhatsApp/Telegram self-chat, screenshots, bookmarks, notebooks, etc. Plus some of the following: • 1 (or more!) personal workspace/database tools: Notion, Airtable, Coda, Anytype, Capacities, Tana, AppFlowy, AFFiNE, etc. • 1 (or more!) PKM/networked notes tools: Obsidian, Roam, Reflect, Mem, Craft, Bear, Heptabase, DEVONthink, Tinderbox, etc. • 1 (or more!) open-source/local-first tools you need to keep updating. • 1 (or more!) outliners • 1 (or more!) of read-later/research inboxes • Legacy personal systems/methods (what happens when you change your system and add something else?) • AI chat/workspace tools But most likely a messy personal capture stack — Apple Notes/Notes in general + screenshots + self-messages + bookmarks + Notion/Airtable + AI chats + notes in many notebooks + post-its, etc. That is not private. To clarify: 1. This is work in progress and any help is welcome. 2. There is a lot of the components to be built. 3. It will have services on top (backups, peer-to-peer encrypted nodes, secure physical backups in the future, an IP marketplace, and more). 4. No, there are no integrations yet (pull and push) that is in the near term TODO list. Imports from bookmarks, from note apps, and then push if you use a different PM tool and need more capabilities than what it offers…or you can always build it yourself or build it within IdeaFoundry. 5. You own your data. It is local and will stay that way. It is also secure and encrypted. But, Is it usable? Yes it is, I have been using it for close to 6 months now and I only capture ideas here: I went from 6 notebooks, apple notes, voice notes, emails, bookmarks. Who is it for? I’m an inventor and businessman. I have patents in a few countries, I have PPAs, trademarks, utility models, trademarks and way too many ideas. If you TOO have way TOO many ideas this is for you.
