Anarlog is an AI notepad that captures your meetings and instantly turns them into personalized summaries, enhanced by your quick notes. It runs locally by default, keeping your meeting notes private and under your control.
Local transcription and data storage is a game changer - and it's packed up in a pretty product as well. Awesome job π

Very cool and needed! I think we are moving in a direction where more people will want AI locally on their machines without uploading their data to third parties. What are you using for your local database? Did you have to take local database encryption into account for this?
@katrinarodriguezΒ absolutely! we are using sqlite to store all notes/events/people information. We didn't apply direct encryption yet, but might consider doing something like that in the future. We also heard feedback from users who want their notes to be stored as markdown (like obsidian) instead of sqlite, so that also might be an interesting idea to explore!

@duckduckheroΒ That is an interesting request to store notes as markdown. I guess it makes it easier to port over to code editors!
@duckduckheroΒ @katrinarodriguezΒ a lot of our users have already been incorporating tools like obsidian into their workflows, so having notes saved as MD seems to make more sense to them!
Met John earlier, and the amount of passion and conviction he has for Hypernote is so inspiring. Can't wait to sign up for Hyprnote - such a great product with an exceptional team building behind it.
I recommend Hyprnote to anyone who values privacy and wants to automate note-taking. The app records, transcribes, and summarizes meetings right on your device β without sending data to the cloud.
