Hi Product Hunt 👋 Plenty of frog games are road crossers or one-button hop timers. Hyper Toad is built around a different move: the tongue flick. It is a top-down 3D hunt where, every second, you decide which bug to go for next. Drag to hop around the pond, then flick your tongue at a bug. Each level names one bug to collect (wasps, spiders, bees or butterflies), and every catch charges a HYPER meter. While HYPER is on, your tongue hits the giant toads for double damage. The giants chase you: they crouch, lunge at where you were standing, then recover tired, so a sidestep beats the lunge. What's in it: • 50 levels, with up to four giants on the field at once in later levels • Five giant toad types: Warty, Bigjaw, Swift, Boulder and Venom • Endless Hunt, a survival mode with waves that keep coming • Daily and weekly missions, toad skins and permanent upgrades • A buddy frog that helps you catch bugs A note on ads: it is free to play and supported by ads.
