Every day another AI meeting assistant launches ( @HyNote AI is launching today ⭐️), but most of them miss the real dealbreakers for power users:
Privacy risk: Sending sensitive business calls and client data to third-party servers.
Social friction: That awkward "Notetaker Bot" joining the calendar invite and killing the vibe.
Cost: Stacked monthly subscriptions that charge per user, per minute, or per call.

my dealbreaker isn't really privacy in the abstract, it's the same thing Kutlu already caught above - marketing copy saying "never leaves your machine" while the docs/site elsewhere mention cloud sync and SOC-2. the moment those two things don't line up, the trust is gone regardless of which one is actually true. I've read a bunch of meeting-tool launches this week and the ones that hold up best are the ones that just say plainly which parts are local and which parts touch a server, instead of leading with the strongest-sounding claim and letting the fine print contradict it later.
I'd go with privacy risks and where are the servers located actually and under which jurisdiction they fall under. And if the claims are not claiming themselves on the website, as Omri said, the product looses credibility when it comes to people that understand the terms actually.
