Hydraulic Conveyor is a developer tool that makes shipping and updating desktop apps incredibly easy. It can build self-updating packages for every OS from any OS, handles signing and supports web-style update-on-launch.

Hello ProductHunters. We built this tool for developers, after getting frustrated at how hard it was to do innovative things that can't fit inside the browser sandbox. We wanted to make desktop deployment as easy and straightforward as it is on the web and I think we achieved that. You can create a sample app and deploy a self-updating version of it for Windows, macOS and Linux to any web server, S3 or GitHub Releases. It takes only a few minutes, it helps you deploy to the Microsoft Store, and it does a lot to make code signing easy if you want to do that as well. For some app frameworks like Electron or the JVM you don't even need to build on each target OS, because Conveyor can do everything itself without native tooling - deploy to Windows and Mac from a Linux CI VM or vice-versa, no problem. Our users and customers consistently praise how easy to use it is compared to the alternatives. We hope you'll like it too!
