Hub — Opensophy - Docs platform where your folder structure IS the navigation

by
Hub is an open-source SSG+SPA docs platform with rich Markdown blocks out of the box — cards, columns, steppers, charts, math formulas, and more — no MDX, no plugins. Your folder structure in Docs/ automatically becomes the sidebar, breadcrumbs, and URLs. Tables become interactive with filters, search, and Excel export. Built-in live UI component playground. CMS-like editor with live preview included.

I built Hub because existing docs platforms either lock you into rigid structure or require too much config to get started. I wanted something where writing feels natural and powerful at the same time. The killer features I'm most proud of: → Folder structure IS the navigation. Create a folder in Docs/ — it instantly becomes a sidebar section, breadcrumbs, and URL. Zero routing config. → Rich Markdown blocks out of the box. Cards, columns, steppers, charts, math formulas, alerts — all in plain .md files. No MDX, no plugins, no extra dependencies. → Tables that actually work. Every Markdown table automatically gets multiselect filters, search with highlight, column visibility toggle, fullscreen mode, and one-click export to Markdown or Excel. → Live UI component playground. Embed interactive component demos directly in your docs — readers can tweak props and see results in real time. → CMS-like editor with live preview. Edit content and see the rendered result instantly, without deploying anything. Would love to hear what features matter most to you in a docs platform — and what you think is missing!
