Tom Sagi is a co-founder and the CEO of Hourly. Prior to Hourly, Tom managed a real estate development company where he got fed up with just how complex and time-consuming it was to handle workers’ comp for hourly employees. Each week Tom would spend an entire day driving around to job sites collecting muddy time cards, running reports, exporting things to excel, and chasing down how much he was actually spending on labor. It was a tedious process that he wanted to get done in minutes—not hours. He knew there had to be a better way. Tom's vision for Hourly was simple: The ability to pay his team from anywhere in a few minutes. He set out to create a platform that helps small businesses with hourly workers handle payroll and workers’ comp with the press of a button.
