Hey everyone! I'm Hristo, the solo developer behind Homy. I built this because I got frustrated with security camera apps that upload my footage to servers I don't own. Ring had their privacy scandals, Alfred sends everything through their cloud, and I just wanted something simpler. Footage that stays in MY iCloud, end of story. What makes Homy different: • iCloud-only storage - your videos never touch third-party servers. No accounts to create, just your Apple ID. • Native on iPhone, iPad, and Mac - not a web wrapper. Each platform feels right. • Works on old devices - I test on an iPhone SE from 2018. It runs great. That drawer full of old phones? Put them to work. • Stealth mode - disguise the app as a clock, calculator, or black screen while recording. Also saves battery. • No subscription trap - $45 lifetime option if you hate recurring fees. It's early days, and I'm actively developing.
