homecrate - Local music player and spatial DAW - musicians + audiophiles

by
Lossless local library player + 8-track spatial DAW. Both sides share the same library, algorithm, and understanding of what you're listening to and creating. The DAW is voice-controlled via on-device Apple Intelligence. Spatial audio assigns per-track 3D positions and exports in APAC, one of the first third-party implementations. Plays back on AirPods with head tracking natively. The recommendation algorithm uses real on-device data, grounded in your files. $9.99 once. No sub. No account.

Hello, I'm Anthony, and I built this app. Happy to answer any questions about how any of it works. The part I'd love to hear feedback on is the spatial audio pipeline if anyone gets a chance to try it with AirPods. It exports in APAC, Apple's new First Order Ambisonics format from iOS 26 and this is one of the first third-party implementations of it so there's not much to compare against yet. The voice DAW control is the other thing worth trying if you're a musician. A good first command is "switch to midi tab" then "insert a 4 bar chord progression in the key of G on track 1" Or "count me in from the top on track 2" to count in recording. My go to interface for recording guitar is the Fender Link I/O. Super affordable and clean audio. It works flawlessly with the homecrate amp. Nearly instant. I use this amp more than my real amps these days so I think guitarists will particularly find themselves playing more.

Working through some IAP approval issues but the free version is live! You can experience all features of the Pro version in a slightly limited feature set until the in app purchase is cleared by Apple!
