HNTerminal - Hacker News at terminal density, superpowers in your browser

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I read Hacker News every day and kept wanting two things the site doesn't give me: more stories per screen, and some sense of which ones are actually moving. HNTerminal is my answer to both. Density from structure, not tiny type: It's a ruled grid - rank, title, points, comments, age, domain, submitter, all in aligned columns, 100 to 500 stories a page. The dead horizontal margin most readers waste becomes a second column for what's rising right now. Signals the HN API doesn't publish: A poller snapshots every story's score on a fixed interval, so the app can show velocity (points/hour), heat (velocity weighted by age), and a controversy signal (comments outrunning points usually means a flame war). None of that exists in the public API - it has to be accumulated over time. It is Keyboard-first, so you can use: J / K to move enter for the thread / to search T for themes L to switch layout : for a command line. Split Reader keeps the discussion pane following your cursor; Classic Grid is the pure scan view. Also: 11 themes (Amber CRT and VT100 for the nostalgic, Kanagawa and Sakura for the rest of us), installable as a PWA, works offline, no account, no tracking beyond anonymous usage counts. It reads public HN data and isn't directly affiliated with Y Combinator or Hacker News. I'd love to hear what signal you wish HN showed you that it doesn't - that's would be the roadmap.
