Hey Product Hunt 👋
I run a software consultancy. For years the most painful part of delivery
wasn't the building - it was staffing it.
A client approves a project on Monday. You need two backend engineers by the
following week. So you email four staffing partners, get back a pile of CVs
with no consistent signal in them, interview people whose actual depth you
can't verify, then spend the next six months chasing timesheets across three
vendors and reconciling invoices by hand.
Every one of those steps is somebody's full-time job somewhere. None of them
are the work the client is paying for.
HireNXT is what we built to stop doing that manually. It runs the engagement
lifecycle in one place: raise a requirement, match against vetted partner
benches, run background and identity verification alongside interviews instead
of after them, deploy, then track timesheets and invoicing across every partner
from one dashboard. Partners get idle bench working; customers stop managing
five vendor relationships to staff one team.
That's what works today. Where we're going is the part I'm more interested in.
Staff augmentation is still a stubbornly manual business - the matching, the
compliance paperwork, the status chasing, the billing reconciliation. Most of
it is pattern work that doesn't need a person in the loop. We're building
toward enterprise agents that own those loops: one that drafts and scopes a
requirement, one that keeps compliance documentation current, one that
assembles delivery summaries from the systems a team already works in - so you
find out a project is slipping from the work itself, not from a status call.
The longer bet is that companies stop hiring people and start acquiring
capability - human specialists, AI specialists, or a mix, assembled per
outcome. We're some way off that. The lifecycle had to work first.
Would really like to hear from anyone who's run a bench or managed vendor
staffing at scale, especially on where you think this breaks.
