@zionmelson Hi Zion, congrats on the launch! Very cool idea, I like this! I also like how selective it is, potentially some of the previous attempts at this that I've seen fail because there was no review and it was a free-for-all!
Wish you the best!
Interesting idea - seems really contingent (like all platforms haha) on users and adoption. How do you intend to parse folks making a decent living on Upwork/Fiverr etc to pivot or supplement with your platform?
Will there be regional limitations or if I am looking to vet global contractor talent - I presume those geographic / contract / experience filters will be the same as a dating app/shopping experience to some degree?

@zionmelson likely should have tagged you first and - congrats on the launch either way - seems like a super neat idea.

@dzaitzow Yep exactly, all job seekers regardless of FTE or contracted have the same experience matching with founders.

@zionmelson are there vetting metrics for the talent - obviously you mentioned that these companies have vetting parameters but I am curious if it works the other way around ie: have there been technical interviews done - do they need to be referred (think Raya haha) - or is it a match THEN vet from a process perspective?

@dzaitzow our requirements act as a pre-vetting. Startups can do additional vetting if they want, I aimed to make a more lightweight hiring tool.
Congrats, @zionmelson! π This is such an innovative approach to recruitment! The verification process for profiles ensures quality which is so essential in todayβs hiring landscape. Excited to see how learnmutiny.io evolves and helps founders connect with top-tier talent quickly! Upvoted!
This is an interesting concept, Zion! How do you ensure the vetting process for profiles to maintain quality? Is there any particular KPI you're tracking to measure success for both job seekers and founders? Would love to know more about that!

@elke_qin Yep, we have a list inside the server of everyone that has been approved and their relevant information.
Zion, congratulations on your launch ! it is much harder than people think to have an idea and turn it into a actual product. Drawing the line with your MVP is also harder than most understand!. With that said, making hiring mistakes when you are building your team can be very costly if you make bad hires. I think you will help solve that problem in spades! question: Have you considered a separate category (no series A) for promising startups with founders that have a solid track record. Many developers want to get in early:-)

@ericmb Are you referring to before Seed and Pre-Seed founders?
@zionmelson founders with pre-seed and or seed $'s

@ericmb all founders are welcome to join. The Series A requirement is just for approved founders.

Congrats on your launch Zion! π I am a big fun of new solutions to old problems. Are you planning on changing the requirements to include more companies and employees?
