Hinode v2 is out: the tiers are gone

Standard, Pro and Power tiers don't exist any more. Here is what replaced them.

One machine. Creating a workstation is now a single decision — how big the disk. It runs on a slice of an L4, 2.8 GB of VRAM and 16 GB of RAM, at $0.34/hr, which is what the machine costs us.

The big card is a catalog you borrow from: eleven cells, a GPUs paired RAM, $1.73 to $13.34/hr. The handoff takes the desktop away for about twelve seconds; it was around thirty when we first measured it.

Connect is a split button now. The chevron opens ComfyUI, JupyterLab and AI Toolkit — pick one and we wake the box if it's paused, install the app if it isn't there, and hand you a local tab. Your own browser, your bookmarks, no stream between you and the canvas.

Under that: your workstation has a permanent hostname. Install the app, sign in once, and ssh mybox works — one command makes the key, registers it and writes the SSH config entry.

Referrals earn boost credit, with the link and its earnings in the apps. Connect asks how sharp the stream should be. A boost that can't be placed says so and offers a cell that can. And a paused box now wakes in 40 seconds.
