I scanned 93 famous SaaS landing pages with an eye-tracking AI
Hey everyone 👋
I'm Nicolas, building Heatpoints (launching here Aug 2). It predicts where a first-time visitor's eye will land on any page — before it's live — with a peer-reviewed eye-tracking model. No tracking script, no cookie, just paste a URL, a mockup or a screenshot and get a heatmap + a score /100 in ~30 seconds.
To pressure-test it, I ran 93 well-known SaaS landing pages through it. A few things that surprised me:
81% place their highest-attention zone outside the hero — the eye lands nowhere near the headline they worked on.
Median score: 41/100. Not a single page reached 80.
Airtable scored 23, Monday 26 — companies with real design teams.
The idea: AI now ships pages faster than anyone can judge them, so I wanted a quick visual QA step before you pay for traffic. It also scores your copy word by word (which words get read vs skipped) — something I haven't seen anywhere else.
Two things I'd love from you before launch:
1. Drop your URL in the comments and I'll scan it + tell you what I see 🔥
2. If it sounds useful, follow the launch so you get pinged Aug 2 — every early follower genuinely helps.
Happy to answer anything about how it works, the model, or the privacy side.
