AMA: I built a community app for cardiac recovery – ask me anything about the journey or the app

by

Almost three years ago, I had a "widow-maker" heart attack at 50 outside of my gym at 4:45am waiting for the doors to open. After a week on ECMO and dialysis, I made it through physically, but the mental side - the anxiety, PTSD, and endless questions - were brutal and isolating.

That's why I built Heart Restarted: a free community where survivors share stories, practical tips, doctor-prep tools, and real support.

We're launching tomorrow right here on PH: https://www.producthunt.com/products/heart-restarted?launch=heart-restarted

Ask me anything!
• What surprised me most in recovery?
• How I turned a personal crisis into this app as a solo maker?
• Features you'd want in a cardiac support community?
• Health-tech building challenges or advice for others who've been through major health events?
• Truly, anything.

Grateful to this community for the support already and excited to chat
