Happyning - Crazy Party-Crashing App is Disruptive... but Cool! 😎

Hello Product Hunters! As screen-to-screen replaces face-to-face and follows and likes replace handshakes and hugs, we decided to make an app that made the real world look so dang sexy, amazing and accessible that we would eradicate loneliness by facilitating serendipitous real world experiences! Happyning helps you answer the question “what do I feel like doing right now?” Whether it’s a regular Friday night, a day trip to a new city, or a week at SxSW, Happyning takes local trending hashtags and puts them on the map so you can join in. Before Happyning, we would scroll through Instagram, browse Twitter, and open SnapChats whenever we were looking for somethig fun to do. There are several problems with this… - If we came across something that looked cool, it was already over - If we were visiting a new city, our friend feed was filled with things from back home - If we were at a conference or event, we were so plagued by FOMA (fear of missing out) that we ended up missing out! Happyning solves all these problems and puts fun “happynings” on the map so you can participate. - Happynings disappear after 2 hours so everything you see is fresh - You can see Happynings with a 2 mile radius of your location so you can easily join in - You can post your own Happynings and add pictures anonymously Whether you’re in a new city, attending a big conference, or hanging out with friends back home, Happyning will turn average into adventurous.
