HappyFeet is a foot-mounted, wireless synthesizer/drum-machine. You put it on your foot, and connect via Bluetooth to a free app on your iOS or Android phone or tablet. The app defines what sounds are played when you tap your foot.

Hi! I'm launching HappyFeet on Kickstarter soon and am trying to build my mailing list before the campaign launch. HappyFeet is an ultra-lean startup that I'm trying to use to accomplish some goals: - having fun! Music is fun and I'd like to try to use HappyFeet to help more people make more music. - growing a community: HappyFeet is essentially a new musical instrument so it will need a lot of players trying it and sharing their experiences, grooves, videos, etc. - tapping into the music/developer Venn diagram union set: all the the HappyFeet code is available on Github. I've used all open-source tools in the development of HappyFeet so this is a chance to give back. Also, I know there are a lot better developers out there than me. - on-shoring: I'm working with North American suppliers of electronics (Bittele) and plastics (Shapeways, BBI Plastics)
