HamHome - AI-Powered Bookmark Manager for Modern Browsers

by
HamHome is an AI-powered bookmark manager for modern browsers. It automatically categorizes saved pages, suggests tags, and generates summaries to keep your bookmarks organized. With semantic search, you can find links using natural language instead of exact keywords. Built with a privacy-first, local-first design, all data stays in your browser. HamHome also supports BYOK AI providers, page snapshots, and WebDAV sync—turning scattered bookmarks into a searchable personal knowledge base.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m the maker of HamHome, an AI-powered bookmark manager built for modern browsers. Like many people, I kept saving links that I never organized or revisited. Over time my bookmarks turned into a messy archive of folders and forgotten pages. I built HamHome to solve this problem and turn bookmarks into something actually useful. HamHome uses AI to automatically categorize pages, generate tags, and create short summaries when you save a link. Instead of manually organizing everything, the system helps structure your bookmarks for you. One feature I’m particularly excited about is semantic search. Rather than remembering exact titles or keywords, you can search bookmarks using natural language and quickly find the information you need. Another core goal was privacy and control. HamHome follows a local-first design, meaning your data stays in your browser. You can also connect your own AI providers (OpenAI, Claude, Ollama, or custom endpoints) using a BYOK model. Some other features: • Local HTML page snapshots • WebDAV sync for multi-device usage • Flexible category trees with emoji icons • Grid/list views and light/dark themes HamHome is still evolving, and your feedback will help shape the next version. If you try it, I’d love to hear: 👉 What features would make bookmark management better for you? Thanks for checking it out and supporting the launch! 🚀
