Hey everyone, I built HalfTwin because of a very specific, shitty feeling I’ve had way too many times. You know when you’re talking to someone new online, maybe on Snap or a dating app, and things are going great? Then they hit you with: 'Send a pic?' Suddenly, you’re scrambling. You go to the bathroom to find better light, you take 30 selfies, and every single one looks… off. You look tired, the lighting makes your skin look gray, or the camera just didn't catch the 'vibe.' It’s that split second of panic where you think, 'If I send this, they’re going to judge me and ghost me before we even meet.' You end up overthinking it so much that the conversation just dies. I hated that. So I made HalfTwin. It’s not a 'filter' app that turns you into a different person. It’s a 1-click 'best day' generator. It fixes the bad lighting, sharpens the tired eyes, and cleans up the graininess. It’s for that moment when you just need to look like you actually look on your best possible day, so you can hit 'send' without the anxiety. I kept it super simple: No accounts. No data storage (I don't want your photos, and I'm sure you don't want me to have them). It processes, you download, and the data is wiped. I’m stoked to finally share this.
