Guardian Gaze WordPress Security Plugin - WordPress plugin that understands malicious code behavior!

Guardian Gaze was inspired by a recurring problem we encountered while investigating compromised WordPress websites at RedSecLabs. Time and again, we were called in after a site had already been scanned by security tools and declared clean, yet hidden backdoors and malicious code were still present. What stood out was that these threats often didn't match known malware signatures. Instead, they were cleverly disguised as legitimate plugin or theme code, making them difficult for traditional scanners to detect. As security researchers, we found ourselves manually reviewing code and asking a different question: not "Have we seen this pattern before?" but "What is this code actually trying to do?" We began building internal tools to help us analyze code intent and behavior rather than relying solely on signatures. Over time, those tools evolved into Guardian Gaze. We created it to give WordPress site owners and security professionals a way to identify suspicious code that may look legitimate on the surface but behaves maliciously underneath. Rather than replacing existing security solutions, Guardian Gaze complements them by focusing on understanding code behavior and intent, the gap we repeatedly saw during real-world incident response investigations.
