I’m really excited to finally launch Terra Mater Studio. For over 10 years I’ve worked in agritech and kept seeing the same problem: extremely expensive hardware and software that only big farms can afford. Meanwhile, hobby gardeners, urban farmers and small growers could benefit so much from real data but it was never within reach. That’s why I’ve been building this ecosystem for the past decade. I’m doing this together with an old colleague who is a precision agriculture specialist. Together we created Terra Mater Studio: a beautiful visual garden planner combined with real multi-depth soil intelligence from SoilWatcher sensors. We named it Terra Mater (Mother Earth) because we believe the best way to grow is by listening to the earth itself — just like nature has sustained itself for millions of years without chemicals or waste. Right now it already integrates with Home Assistant, Homey, Rainbird, Hunter and more — and we’re keeping it open and affordable. I’d love honest feedback from all of you so we can keep improving it together.

Started back in 1987 with the first 2-floppydisk farmsoftware, as farmer participated in precision ag projects, high interest in how hardware and software can help farming. Met Cor and now we are at the point that very affordable hardware is within reach, all we need is simple app's and api's to other platforms. That's were we are right now. What is your challenge?
