Hey everyone, Alex here, the creator of Grumpy AI.
Apparently, asking an AI to rewrite an email is a “fantastic question.” Every time. I thought there was room for a different personality.
So I built Grumpy AI. Sarcastic answers. No sugarcoating. And a sense of humour that makes the conversation worth having.
You can ask for advice, get help with something, or just talk. Grumpy will answer—it just won’t pretend that helping you was how it wanted to spend its afternoon.
The vibe is less “I’d be delighted to assist!” and more “Fine. Let’s fix this before you make it worse.”
That’s what I wanted to create: an AI you open because you’re curious what it’s going to say, not only because you need something done. Something that can help you and make you laugh in the same response.
It’s an Android and iOS chat app, complete with an animated face that looks appropriately unimpressed. There’s optional deeper thinking and web search, too, for when your question requires more than attitude.
Give it a question you’d normally ask a polite chatbot. Then tell me how the sarcasm lands. Funny? Too much? Not nearly grumpy enough?
