Your power users might be your worst customers

by

Everyone tells founders to love their power users.

But in an AI product, the most active customer may be hammering your most expensive feature, triggering retries, opening five conversations at once—and paying the same flat fee as everyone else.

They might love your product because you are accidentally subsidizing them.

Have you ever looked at a “best customer” and realized you would be more profitable if they churned?

What did you do: raise the price, add limits, move them to another model, or just smile and absorb the cost?
