GroundControl - Fully manage the lifecycle of your feature flags

byβ€’
GroundControl is the simplest way to manage feature flags in your application. Not only because we offer a great DX to create and manage them, but also because our GitHub app facilitates the removal of feature flags from your code once they are fully enabled.

As a professional in the software development industry, I believe that feature flags should be a resolved issue. However, it has come to our attention that 75% of the people we surveyed do not utilize a feature flag service or have created their own and are seeking better alternatives. In my experience, feature flags are a powerful mechanism that not only enable or disable certain features for specific users but are also useful for a variety of other purposes, including hiding unfinished features for testing by staff, deploying risky changes, A/B testing, performance optimization, incident mitigation, and phasing out features, among other things. I understand that some teams are hesitant to use feature flags because they may add technical debt. However, our approach covers the entire lifecycle of feature flags, including their deletion! Our GitHub app locates feature flag usages and opens pull requests to remove them, ensuring that you can keep your technical debt under control. Furthermore, I know that many feature flag services can be clunky or difficult to understand. That's why we have made it our top priority to provide the best developer experience possible. We want to make feature flags accessible and easy to use for everyone, so you can focus on what really matters – building great software.

πŸ’‘ Bright idea
Really love the concept but i miss some mobile native libraries. Do you have a timeline for those?
Alberto Gimeno
@basiclines Yes, we will start working on Swift and Kotlin SDKs soon. They will be probably available by the end of the month or beginning of November. How does that sound? Do you need support for other platform or language? Thanks for your feedback!
Ismael Canal
@gimenete that sounds cool! Swift and Kotlin sounds perfect for us!
