Ship code faster with Graphite. Stay unblocked on code review with “stacking” - the workflow engineers at top companies use to accelerate their development. Now available to anyone with a GitHub account.
@coyne_lloyd1 Thanks for the support!
Responding to your questions:
1. Stacking allows you to ship smaller pull requests - Google engineering best practices recommend that pull requests are under 100 lines in length to reduce the time spent waiting for code review. Stacking also allows you to manage dependencies between PRs and stay unblocking while waiting for review. Learn more at stacking.dev 🙂
2. No! Because Graphite syncs seamlessly to Github, you can use it yourself while the rest of your team does not. Try it for free and see how you stack!
Folks who have worked with stacked PRs before at cos like Meta love it, but until Graphite there was not great product to that made stacked PRs easy to adopt, with a nice, streamlined UX.
Congrats on shipping ?makers , and congrats on all the progress so far!
@nicolaerusan Thanks Nicolae -- I always have to remember how lucky I am to have come straight from having this tooling at Meta to building it myself at Graphite -- can't wait for more of the software engineering world to try it out!
Report
ManageXR has been using Graphite since February, and we were immediately in love. The experience is amazing, the UI is clean, and the team is great at delivering high quality support.
Biased, but Graphite has given me a productivity boost that matches my previous workflow at FB. Hope more people try it out, and get the same productivity boosts I have!
