I don't understand what this is or how it differs from Daydream. Is it a curated collection of VR videos? Is it another hardware initiative from Google (like Daydream)? Why does Google make so many seemingly duplicate efforts at so many things? Super confusing from a consumer standpoint.

In typical 360 videos they've found from hot spot maps on youtube videos no one is turning the video around, they are just watching what's in front of them. They are releasing cameras that shoot 180 versus 360. Personally, I prefer 360 videos edited in really cool styles.
