Hey! I'm Alex, solo dev behind GlobeReader. Demos: - Spanish https://globereader.ca/demo-es - French https://globereader.ca/demo-fr I've been learning languages on and off for years and occasionally hitting the same wall. Apps are great for basics but never got me to where I could actually read something real. When I tried picking up a book in Spanish, I spent more time switching between tabs and dictionaries than reading. So I built a reader where you upload any book or paste a URL and just start reading. Hit a sentence you don't know, select it, get the translation and pronunciation, keep going. It works with EPUBs, PDFs, articles, web pages. There's a starter library with public domain classics if you want to try it right now. 10+ languages including Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Arabic with RTL. Free tier, no credit card. Would love to hear what you think.
