GitInsights - Pull request metrics for engineering teams

Hey Product Hunt! I’m excited to introduce GitInsights — pull request metrics for engineering teams. As an engineer myself, I originally built GitInsights to solve a need on my own team. Since being originally published on the Github Marketplace a year ago, I have had a slow organic trickle of new users. I decided it’s time to publicize it! Use Case GitInsights gathers data scattered across GitHub, and transforms it into actionable pull request metrics. Engineering teams use this data to analyze and improve their code review practices. How It Works 1. Install the GitHub app. 2. Configure your team(s). 3. View metrics in real time via the web and/or receive a weekly digest via email and Slack. Differentiation Git-based analytics is not a new concept. That said, I decided to pursue this product because the space is occupied by several mature competitors. These companies that have moved up market, and in the process have become overpriced, convoluted product-offerings. This product is for small-to-mid size engineering orgs that are looking for an elegant solution without going through a sales cycle or expensive price tag!
