This project was developed over a weekend for the Sundai event #139 https://www.sundai.club/events/b... It is a 3D world simulation, featuring 2 types of creatures, Lumen and Tecton living in a small valley and trying to survive. Tecton are ecosystem builders as they help patches of food resources grow to feed both the Tectons and Lumens. The valley is divided by a river where a predator patrols the waters and kills the creatures it encounters. These creatures are controlled by simple models and do not embody LLMs or other advanced models. Sitting on top of this world is a 9-scientist LLM powered research team that studies this world and its dynamics. Released on MIT license, the project provides many interesting opportunities for further studies. Demo:
