Animated GIFs can be fun, but I’ve always found it annoying when browsers let them autoplay everywhere, constantly pulling your attention away from what you’re doing. I built GIF Control to prevent that. It stops animated images by default, shows the first frame, and gives you a simple play button so you decide when motion starts and stops. No more unexpected movement, just more control over your browsing experience.
