GeoFix is a minimal GPS tool built for hiking and outdoor use. Save your position instantly, move freely, and navigate back using direction and distance. Record your tracks, follow them, and track back when needed. No maps, no clutter, just essential navigation. Works offline and integrates with Apple Watch for quick access on your wrist.

Hi everyone 👋 I built GeoFix because I kept running into the same problem while hiking: I would save a spot, move around, and then struggle to find my way back without relying on complex maps or heavy apps. Most GPS apps felt like overkill for simple use cases, so I decided to try a different approach: just save a point, move freely, and navigate back using direction and distance. Over time, I expanded it with: - track recording and track back - off-route detection - Apple Watch support for quick navigation from the wrist The idea is to keep everything minimal and focused on real outdoor use, without maps, accounts or unnecessary complexity. I’m currently testing it in real conditions (including tricky GPS scenarios), so I’d really value your feedback. What I’d love to know: 👉 Do you actually need maps for most hikes, or would a simpler approach be enough in some cases? Thanks for checking it out 🙏
