Have any questions when it comes to cooking? I'm here to answer them 🍳

A bit about my experience: Apart from a few pivots, I have worked with food for around 7 years, I have left the food industry to work at Product Hunt but it still has a massive place in my heart. Within my experience, I trained as a cook (Italian), a bread baker and during my Italian training I also was a pizzaiolo Currently I'm teaching myself Indian cuisine, which is probably the most exciting thing for me right now. I also cook at the Product Hunt off sites for the team Ask me anything you want about cooking, the industry, technique, the culture within a kitchen, anything really!

Stricter Discussions (Forums) on the Product Hunt – Bad or Good?

A few days ago I saw some posts here about:

the number of discussions is decreasing,

sometimes they are approved later,

that there is "other community growth" I don't know what was meant by that and I'm just guessing.

How is your (tech) company investing in its community?

Building a community these days is no longer just about setting up a social media profile or starting a private group on Slack or Discord.

Companies need to differentiate themselves, gain a competitive advantage, and build relationships with clients/users on a more personal level.

I am Tara Reed: CEO of Apps Without Code // Forbes 30 Under 30 // TEDx Speaker // NoCode Queen Being a pioneer in No Code app development inspired me to launch Apps Without Code; the very first No Code University where I teach others how to use technology to bring their app ideas to life without the need of expensive developers or coding knowledge. To date, Apps Without Code has helped over 85,000 entrepreneurs, in 14 different countries, make money from apps that they built without code. I'll be answering questions this Wednesday

How much do you share with AI? Or more specifically, with ChatGPT?

Recently, I asked how much you trust AI agents.

When it comes to finances, you said you don t.
With health data, you don t either.

But now I have a different question.

Do you invest more in building your personal or company brand on social media?

Investing in terms of your time and finances.

Do you eat breakfast?

I was shocked to find out that so many people in my office are skipping breakfast! I cannot concentrate if I am hangry before lunch. Do you eat breakfast? If so, what do you eat?

When is it reasonable and justified to offer your employees equity in the company?

This starts with a story:

In the summer, one founder of a VC-backed startup approached me to manage his LinkedIn profile, through which he acquires clients (personal brand building).

It was a classic job interview, where the assumption is to create a conversion (you are active on someone's account, building their personal brand, as the account grows, people are noticing you, write to you, you arrange a call, and maybe close a sale)

I asked if there was a possibility of getting equity in this position, because the other positions they had advertised (whether tech, GTM, sales, some small percentage of equity) did offer even a small %...

The answer was "No, this position does not include equity."
