Personally, I'll be traveling to Brazil and I'll have plenty of time to work on my Project Pastick. So my main objective is to have a MVP opened to b ta testers.

Everyone talks about productivity, meditation, cold showers, morning routines and what not. What are some unusual activities that WORK for you and keep you flowing?
Curious if this is just me or other devs face it too. I use Jira and GitHub MCPs inside claude code to fetch my tickets and complete them as autonomously as possible.
But it always keeps messing up finding the correct repos, branching properly or delivering a PR without CI failing. And I end up repeating instructions and copy-pasting CI errors and asking to fix it. I tracked this and I spent on avg 75mins a day repeating context and instructions.
We brought in a brilliant senior dev from a big tech company early on and it turned out to be a complete mismatch. They were so used to massive teams, automated CI/CD pipelines and fully specced Jira tickets that facing our messy duct taped codebase completely paralyzed them.
They wanted enterprise grade architecture when all we needed was a quick MVP shipped by Friday. For founders who survived their first engineering hire how do you screen out people who need massive support systems before they join?
There is a massive difference between a developer who can write clean algorithms in an interview and one who actually knows how to build something from absolute zero with no product manager or QA team around. Our biggest hiring mistake was optimizing for resume prestige instead of looking for someone comfortable with ambiguity and broken infrastructure.

I recently bought the book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill at a well-known bookstore for $4. I absolutely do not understand how this is possible, because I have to say that it is probably the best book I have ever read. And it was only $4, WTF?! So, what's the most powerful book you have ever read?
