Won Vercel day, got nothing

Hey community,
we were #2 on Vercel day, on 25th of September. Vercel & Product Hunt promised some nice perks, including tickets to Vercel conference for top 5 winners.
Long story short, we got exactly nothing. I asked support, whats the status, but they were mumbling something about Vercel is actually picking the companies to give the perks (even though in the rules it is clearly stated - top 5) and they haven't decided yet and some other generic excuses.
Is it normal? Anyone else had such an experience?

@ilyasb Thanks. I mean, the conference is now over, so its too late anyway, but it's a shame that makers are screwed over
Sorry the perks never showed up. I only joined in September, so I don't know how these perks usually get handled. Finishing #2 on the day still counts for a lot in my book.
