Why would I find the pricing page more reliable if it talks about the limitations of the product?

Last month I was comparing three invoicing software packages for my friend's little design studio. The first two sites offered all things under the sun. The third site, however, presented an "What this plan does not include" section, which outlined such restrictions as lack of multi-currency functionality and lack of payroll functionality.
I chose the third option within a few minutes; the restrictions made me sure that this company really knows its product, and I stopped questioning everything else written on this page.
Has anyone tried using an honest limits section on his/her pricing page? I wonder if this approach made you lose any users or gained you more suitable customers.
