As long as you've got a valid problem you're solving, don't sweat it.
I wouldn't shift your project goals because its not centered around AI. As your project matures and finds a fit in the market you will see opportunities that can be made into AI features. Most importantly though is to build something that solves a problem. Best of luck on your journey!

95%-99% of the new “AI” companies are not going to be around in 3 years.
Unless you have a specific expertise in AI or and specific problem that requires an AI solution I would pass for now :)
