What’s the best lesson you’ve learned on Product Hunt?

The best lesson I’ve learned through my Product Hunt journey is that 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. I’ve had launches where everything felt perfectly aligned—𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴—but they didn’t gain traction simply because I didn’t prioritize building pre-launch momentum or engaging the community beforehand. On the flip side, I’ve also seen products unexpectedly take off when the community genuinely resonated with their story, even if the prep wasn’t perfect. Another valuable takeaway? 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴; 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. I’ve relaunched products after initial setbacks, refined based on feedback, and ended up with surprising success.
