Finding interested people is one thing. Finding users who have the exact problem, will try an early product, and give useful feedback is much harder.
Where should a developer actually look for those first 100 real users via product hunt?

My experience is that asking for feedback instead of asking people to ""try my product " gets a much better response.

I think the first 100 users come from conversations, not traffic. A few genuine beat hundreds of random visits.

Product Hunt discussions are a good start, but I've found the best early users are the ones who actively comment and share detailed feedback rather than just upvoting.
