What do you think about higher education, is it necessary these days?

Hey Natallia! Just came across this post, I think higher education should be expanded into increasing the learning benefits present in the real world today. Higher education is an essential and helpful tool in the modern world. It gives you a wide range of opportunities but also disadvantages.

According to me if you have a skill or two and you are a pro in it higher education doesn't matter.

I believe it is still necessary and needed, but not in the same mode. If you look closely it becomes clear that the current mode is all about spoon feeding and exhibiting the memory power. Students simply answer some random questions. I believe, students should have more freedom to express their view, rather than simply memorizing what is being taught in the classroom. Institutions should be a platform to experiment and express oneself. Concurrently, teachers should update their knowledge, and classrooms should become interactive sessions. Students should get ample opportunities to explore latest technology trends & cultural differences. Institutions should be molding youngsters into responsible, knowledgeable, innovative, self motivated logical thinkers & human beings.

I think that higher education plays an important role in a person's life. Education does not always determine whether you will find a good job or not, but it can sometimes help.
