The hiring experience is broken. Why isn’t there a tool that fixes the communication layer?
I keep seeing the same problems over and over in job applications. Across LinkedIn, emails, ATS systems, referrals, and technical interviews:
For candidates:
different recruiters ask for CVs in different formats
no clear expectations for the process
ghosting after interviews or coding tests
positions closed with no notification
For recruiters:
tons of applications and manual follow-ups
confusion because candidates apply across multiple channels
no easy way to keep communication structured
messy process even when using ATS
We already have job boards and ATS tools.
We don’t need another place to post jobs.
What’s still missing is something like:
a transparent status tracker for both sides
automatic updates and reminders
a “no ghosting” accountability model
works with LinkedIn, not against it
works with existing workflows instead of replacing them
Basically: a communication platform on top of LinkedIn and ATS, not another job board.
Would something like this help you (as a candidate or recruiter)?
Some questions I’m thinking about:
Would recruiters use it if they don’t have to double post?
Should the platform enforce minimum communication standards?
What would stop this idea from working?
Is ghosting the core pain or just a symptom?
I’d love honest feedback from both candidates and recruiters.
What are the hidden problems in hiring systems that no one is solving yet?
